It’s hard to believe that just a few (well, eleven) weeks ago, Linus didn’t enjoy his bath. Now it’s his favorite evening of the whole week.
We’ve finally figured out the right formula for making his bath a happy time: get both the bathroom and the room where he’ll dress after ward warm. Nothing worse than taking a very happy baby out of the the bath, and then enraging him with a cold room!
Linus has always had an expressive little face, but this week it began to feel as if he was controlling it and that all of these funny looks were actually a message about what’s going on in that fuzzy little head.
He’s starting to enjoy being an airplane. Before, when I would swing him up into the air, he just sort of looked at me, confused and not terribly amused. Now we get a big smile, especially when there’s “turbulence.”
Poor little guy. Here he is completely sacked out in the car after a day of hiking and then some lunch.
We had a nice walk at good old Ipswich River Sanctuary. We’re looking forward to coming back in a few years when Linus can feed the birds. This is the place where you can hold out a handful of sunflower seeds and soon have chickadees, titmouses, and nuthatches all gathered around on you.
As usual, we found a nice rock to sit on mid-walk, and Linus had a snack. Poor little stomach is too small to make it through a whole trek on one meal.
And of course once his stomach was full, he was out.
He enjoyed watching the ducks. At least we think that’s what he was looking at.

What’s that saying about when you have a tiger by the tail?
As you can see, Linus is still quite lean. I guess all of that kicking of animals burns a lot of calories.
Yen has begun to start each day with a photo of him and Linus in the bathroom mirror.
Here’s Linus with co ba.
Here’s an awesome laughing sequence.
Playing with ba noi.
He finally managed to catch that tiger.
