The Trans Go Out on the Town

You’re about to see how nicely we all clean up! We were invited to a wedding, and the kids were actually included too, which was so sweet. Linus kept talking about “the party,” and once we were there, he repeated, “I don’t want to go home.” Who knew he was so social?

Well, we certainly knew he was handsome.

Yen was one of the photographers, so Thanh-Nga agreed to be my date. Thank goodness! The kids love Co Ba, and she was able to keep them under control.

You may notice that Linus’s outfit is just a little too short, and Mina’s is a little too big. No one seemed to notice, though.

Our first family portrait in an awfully long time. I wish we’d stood closer together!

We knew the ceremony was going to be outside, so we came prepared with hats. Most people weren’t so lucky! I felt bad for one guy in particular who spent most of the morning hiding under a tree.

You can see that Linus also came prepared with his trucks.

And what’s a wedding without snacks?

Here’s the happy couple! Beracah was Yen’s roommate in grad school.

The kids loved the reception. Linus was all over checking out the decorations, and Mina kept breaking away to run over to the band. I think they enjoyed her dancing.

Here’s our little buddy, Cesare. We get to go to his first birthday party in a few weeks. Imagine that – he’s five months younger than Mina but already taller!
