Linus – Week 10
Ten weeks? How is this possible? I guess time flies when you’re hanging out with a baby. Although an awful lot of it is spent watching him sleep or trying to get him to sleep.
I can’t stop admiring this photo. It’s a selfie that Yen took in our bedroom mirror. My boys are just too adorable. I can’t stand it. Linus is so lucky that he gets to hang out with Yen all day. Technically Yen’s working, of course – and don’t worry, he really is. But he also gets to run downstairs to see what’s happening whenever he gets a break. And in the morning, they take a little nap together after Linus finishes the breakfast I always try to leave. I’m incredibly jealous, but also comforted that all this goes on. If I can’t be there, at least I can relax knowing this is happening.
Speaking of breakfast, here’s Linus enjoying some. Three times a day I lock myself in a little room here at work and produce it. So far I’ve managed to bring enough home that we don’t have to supplement with formula. I hope I can keep it up.
This is amazing. You can practically see the difference in his hair growth each day.
He’s not ticklish yet, but I’m working on it. I think the first giggle is coming any day now. I can’t wait!
Ah, here’s Linus with ba noi. He just adores her. He’s never more quiet and comfortable than when he’s resting in her arms.
Poor little guy has a touch of a flat spot – just a touch! – on the right side. We’re working to encourage him toward the left when he sleeps. Don’t worry: he only sleeps surrounded by pillows when someone’s watching the whole time. At night he’s alone in his little crib.
Linus isn’t interested in a pacifier, but he will indulge in these two fingers when he needs a little comfort.
