Long Hill Reservation
We were here last year, but that was September, and we wanted to see what it looked like in the Spring. It was a day of scattered showers, and it turned out to be very good that we were wearing rain gear.
Yen was very happy about the tulips. “We don’t even have to drive into Boston!” He meant the Public Garden, which is where we usually go for tulips.
This is an umbrella pine. We ducked under it when a little shower came through. It lived up to its name.
I scaled this rock, but forgot that eventually I’d have to get down again. This is me calling for an assist.
I have some, erm, balance problems these days.
But I never fell once!
We agreed this looked like an elephant.
