Sedona: Long Canyon, Cathedral Rock
It seems as if every post from this trip begins with the backside of me, dressed so no skin is showing, and heading off into the hills. But that’s just how we began each morning. And yes, I’m wearing sunscreen underneath it all.
For our last full day, we tackled Long Canyon. It is aptly named. I’m not going to lie: I didn’t really enjoy this hike. But that’s ok. To slightly alter David’s motto, a bad day hiking is better than a good day working.
I did like this tree, though. Doesn’t it look as if it’s been covered in leather?
So after Long Canyon, we drove around looking for the best shot of Cathedral Rock. Then it was early to bed, because we were heading back in the morning and had plans for the drive to Phoenix.
