The Most Dangerous Game

Yen and the kids invented a new game today.

You put your marker on the long diving board at the top, close your eyes, and jump by drawing a line down. Your goal is the tiny cup just left of the volcano – that’s the swimming pool. Of course you don’t make it, and you end up dead by a particular source of pain. You can see the tick marks in the upper left-hand corner showing deaths vs. success. Some things to note in the photo:

• Next to the poison is poison ivy
• The Van de Graaff generator was Linus’s idea
• Those things under the VdG are thorns
• The cup with the propeller in the bottom is a blender – or as Linus calls it, a “brine-der.” He said to me, “Who wants people soup???”
