We’re off on vacation on Friday! As usual, Yen wanted to clear his camera before we head out. So here’s Mina wearing Yen’s hat:
As I mentioned in an earlier post, the Chandlers came to visit along with Grandma. They all visited Castle Island, and I guess Linus and Mina were in an affectionate mood.
Mina and Ruby were instant friends, but I didn’t see Linus and Henry playing together a lot – I think they’re both still at that age of playing “near” people. Still, it looks like big boats were a uniting force.
I hope Ruby didn’t mind how entirely Mina was taken with her. She wouldn’t let her out of her sight!
Henry seemed to enjoy the kids’ newest toy.
When they visited the Public Garden, excitement over the Bruins in the Stanley Cup finals was all around. In case you missed it: they lost. Sorry, Yen!
Neither kid looks terribly thrilled, which is odd because they love the carousel! I wonder if it was very sunny and they’re just squinting?
Grandma tried and failed to get all of the kids to sit on the ducklings together, but they weren’t having it. At least we got this nice shot of Ruby! Oh, and Mina’s noggin.
Looks like frozen lemonade brought more excitement than the carousel. It always does.
Mina put together this ensemble for a dance party. I have a video somewhere that I’ll post later.
Hiking as usual! She’s so cute in her little running shorts – perfect for trail running!
Of course all of that was just an excuse to get ice cream.
These lucky kids have been to the beach two weeks in a row now. Just wait to see where we go next week…
Mina spent most of this visit hauling the freezing cold water up the beach and then dramatically dumping it on herself.
This was an evening visit – we arrived around 6pm. It’s such a beautiful time to be near the ocean.
I guess Mina wanted a little “me time,” because she grabbed a container of grapes and sat by herself in the shower one afternoon.
