Mina says, “Onward! Into the kitchen!”
The kids are spending a lot of time patroling the house on their little vehicles.
Linus gave Grandma and Grandpa hugs before they left. Mina demured, I’m afraid.
And then… back onto the vehicles for more! Linus keeps setting up these cones. I’m not sure what he’s marking, exactly, but woe unto anyone who moves one.
Has anyone seen Mina?
This girl and her faces! She’s an absolute comedian.
And she’s getting very interested in accessorizing.
Meanwhile Linus is practicing tongue gymnastics.
Eventually we will remove the painter’s tape from the stairs. But not just now. Linus is too busy pretending to sleep there.
On our way to apple picking, we stopped off to walk across the Merrimack River. Quite a bridge!
Linus was fascinated by all of the spiders. He kept asking how they knew there’d be so many bugs.
Apple picking! It was unfortunately a rather hot day. But we still picked enough that I’m about to make a second batch of apple sauce.
Mina’s terrifying new hobby: couch diving. She has such utter confidence that we will always catch her! And we will.
Still obsessed with rocks. She brought a couple into the house one day, and was pounding on the wall with them. I took them away and tossed them outside. She cried for probably ten minutes. “Rock! Rooooooock!”
We found a terrific little park along the Charles in Boston that we’d never been to before.
You can see why Linus liked it. This bridge went up and down three times while we were there.
