Here we go with another Audubon sanctuary.
I was really looking forward to this one because the guidebook brags about its boardwalk system, and I have never met a boardwalk I didn’t like. This is a really good one, so don’t get me wrong. But wow, is this a small property. Definitely not worth making a special trip for, although we did get to see some wood ducks and, as you’ll see, a nice hawk. We ended up saving the day with a side trip to Moose Hill, which I’ll cover in the next post.
