Linus: Week 60
I love this photo. “What? Can’t I just eat this apple in peace?”
Our little health nut is also a big fan of raisins. He eats so many every day. I know they’re high in sugar, but I think there are worse things for a baby to snack on.
Just look at that hair! I don’t really have the heart to cut it, but it’s definitely reaching “punk rock” status.
This weekend we went to the Battle Road for a walk. Linus is so happy when he’s out exploring the world.
Make way for my belly! Little Sister is growing beautifully. She’s got a very strong kick just like Linus.
Linus still likes to collect acorns. On this particular trip, we found a tree that had rotted on the inside, and he started chucking them down so he could watch them fall out the bottom.
At one point he went off-road to check out the flowers.
Just like Mommy, Linus’s favorite part of the walk was the boardwalks. Each time we came to one, he ran back and forth across it several times before he would move on.
Battle Road is near Hansom Air Field, so there were little planes flying overhead all day. Linus pointed each one out for us.
This is the nicest picture Yen could get of the two of us.
Back at home, The Inspector checked out Cha’s technical set-up.
That night, we headed out to the local playground so we could kick around a ball.
Linus is very good with a ball, I have to say. He can run all over the place keeping the ball just in front of him. And he’s got way more style than Beckham.
He enjoyed some of the playground equipment afterward…
But was not happy with the swing.
And then he found another little boy’s ball. Which worked out OK, because that little boy wanted to play with Linus’s.
One day he’ll scamper up this on his own!
Yen captured a few close-ups. Those eyes…
Here’s Linus “shopping.” He travels around with his little wagon, collecting everything he finds.
His newest trick is walking around the house with his hands clasped behind his back like a little old man.
Linus and Ba Noi at the zoo. They had a terrific day. The weather was nice, so all of the animals were out on display and playing.
Linus keeps our dishwasher in good working order.
Kisses for Mommy!
