A year already? What is going on?! Time flies when you’re playing, I guess.
Linus has been spending a lot of time in our spare room lately. It’s got nothing in it right now except a dresser, a mattress, and a giant yoga ball. He loves to roll the ball all over the room. He should enjoy it now before Little Sister takes it over!
Here’s our little ninja dressed for biking on an unusually cold day.
Lots of reading still, of course. Thanks to Aunt Joyce, he’s got several new ones in his collection.
I can’t believe this photo. This is the chair Yen spent hours rocking a tiny, newborn Linus to sleep in. Now he practically fills it!
Still such a good eater. Oranges, of course, are a daily favorite. Yesterday he ate a little bowl of pho – one of his favorites!
I think this is probably a photo of one of his newest tricks, dancing. He squats down and shake, shake, shakes!
Checking out the little rocker that Little Sister will use. I wonder whether he remembers using it.
Here’s Linus in a special outfit for his birthday party. Doesn’t he look handsome?
Here’s his birthday tray. It’s missing one important artifact, which you’ll see in a moment. The idea here is that he chooses something that represent his career or passion later in life. We were really looking forward to seeing what he chose.

After he made his (careful) selection, he paraded all around the house so everyone could see his choice.
Then it was time for the cake!

I took his shirt off thinking that he would make a giant mess, but he was actually quite dainty! He also wasn’t as interested in it as I expected. This baby definitely has a salt too, not a sweet tooth (just like his Cha).
Presents!
Before he could open any presents, he had to bi bo them all over the house.
Hawaiian shirt from Aunt Jenny! You’ll see it again in a few scrolls.
Clean up!
Playing with his new toys.
Back again in regular play clothes, Linus works off those few bites of cake with a little more bi bo.
Here’s that Hawaiian shirt! Taking it easy just as one should when wearing such a thing.
He got a little bongo for his birthday. He just loves it.
Last night he took the bucket out of my bathroom and wandered all over the house. Busy baby!
I’m tickled by his selection from the tray! My first baby was recently spotted on Facebook cooking dinner for his sweetie. Like father, like son.
PS: When is Little Sister coming?
